  1. You can reheat beans in the microwave if they have already been cooked (are from a can or frozen).

    Cooking raw (dry) beans is best done by soaking them in clean water overnight and then cooking them on the stovetop or in a pressure cooker.

    Although I have never tried it and am skeptical, there are directions for cooking dry beans by microwave:

    Combine 1 cup soaked beans and 3 cups water in a 4 quart microwaveable dish. Cover and cook on HIGH for 10 to 15 minutes or until boiling. Stir and microwave on MEDIUM (50% power) for 25 to 35 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until tender.


  2. To reheat yes but otherwise no, I always mak arroz y gandules but not in the microwave, on the stove.

  3. No.....maybe from the can you can heat them, but fresh....no way....at least no way I can think of.  Besides the old fashioned way is the best way......
