I am from the Philippines, and my Italian friend wants to invite me to stay at Italy. how can i get a visa?

i need help.. really really need a help from u guys... im from the Philippines and my Italian friend wants to invite me to go to Italy for a vacation because when he went here in the Philippines I accomodated him so in return he wants to invite me to have a vacation in Italy. he has his own house there where will i stay, he will pay for my ticket and pay all the things i need to go there and be the one to support my stay there and he is a professor in a university in Italy.. my question is.. what are the things that we need for me to get a visa by invitation for him.. can anyone help me? tell me the requirements pls.. i really need your help guys so pls. reply ASAP.
