I am from the US and am sending a self stamped envelope to London. Can I use US stamps for return envelope?

  1. No - they must be UK stamps or they won't be accepted.

    From the Royal Mail website:

    Universal Stamps make sending letters abroad easier for everyone. This new definitive range comprises a Europe stamp and a Worldwide stamp. Both display airmail chevrons down the right-hand side – avoiding the need for separate labels – and can be used to send all mail up to 40g.

    Both Universal stamps come in booklets of four, which also include airmail stickers.
