If sharing accomadation A$100 rent A$50 food weekly.You will need a vehicle to travel as most places dont have public transport other than large cities.If you are basing yourself in one place this will not apply as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane have main bus/ rail links, but if you wish to go wherever you will require transport as we are a very large Country and a lot of Travellers dont realise that these cites are approx 1000k apart.Sydney to Perth is 4000k.Most part times jobs are in the Hospitality industry but if you are an office worker there are agencies that cater for part time work.If you are in the Hospitality Industry I suggest the Gold Coast area from Tweed Heads up to Cairns as the weather is warmer up there. I am from Sydney and Australia is in Autumn going into Winter.

depends how long ur staying for love im dooing the same later this year and i have been recommened between £2000 and £3000.

if u plarning on working asap when u get there u could probably scrape by with less and also depends what sort of work your going into.

just make sure u always have enough for a flight home made that mistake when i went to china and was a most unplesant one.

i do advise to get ur job booked through an agency prior to arrival a few also can book flights for a small cost but u will find the flights cheeper ur self.
