  1. GRE is only one indicator, and the better schools in the US first look at the academic record over the years, and then take GRE also into consideration. You can rule out good schools unless you really concentrate and produce a miracle in the next one year. Your +2 also does not look fantastic.

    If you are satisfied with an MS from "some" school in the US, you might get somewhere but without a schol. You can always find one after going there if you are sincere and hardworking.

    After MS, there is no guarantee of a good job but you might get one. It's a matter of luck. But hard work and sincerity come first.

    So, try with the GRE but do not dream and close your Indian options.


  2. When you ask Is GRE preferable to a job India, you actually mean Is a job in USA after an MS degree better than a job in India, Isn't it?

    With your profile you may have a tough time getting jobs in either country unless you really concentrate on your studies.
