  1. They should be fine.  If they live in the same cage at the pet store then you'll know that they'll get along.

  2. 2 female Dwarf Hamsters in the same cage will be fine, I have 4 in one cage & they all get along fine & sleep together.

  3. Get to so if a fight breaks out you don't have to go out and buy another cage, you will already have one on hand!=)

  4. i would say have two cages.  i've had over fourty hamsters and gerbils so i've seen my share of relationships between these guys.  you can raise hamsters or gerbils from babies and they may grow up together just fine.  in fact, they may spend quite some time as adults getting along.  however, there are some pairs that just for some reason stop getting along.  i don't know if it's because they get older or it becomes a territory thing but fights can happen.

if you see your hamsters roll into a ball and start fighting that means trouble.  they need to be separated ASAP because they could kill each other or really wound the other.  i've had to mend quite a few wounds with some of them.

i'm not saying your pair will end up fighting.  i'm just saying it could happen and i always have a spare cage just in case.  i had three boys that grew up from babies and they were close their whole life for almost two years until they passed on.

  5. If they are g*y hamsters, you should only need one cage.

  6. well..i wouls say two cages because even though hamsters live together at pet stores they are solitary animals and don't like being together my cousin had 2 dwarf females and they fought to the death so TWO cages

  7. yes, when getting dwarves, it is the responsible thing to do to have a second cage, food bowl, water bottle, and wheel on-hand. they dont ALWAYS gert along. also, make sre the 2 are from the same litter!! this farther reduces chance of fightng=]

  8. I have (or had, one died. :( ) two black female dwarf hamsters that shared a cage, and they were perfectly fine.

Dwarf hamsters WANT company, I don't know why, but they do!

  9. try one cage first. if you notice they dont get along, just buy another one.

  10. if the hamster where born together you will not need 2 cages if there are born not to gather they will fight
