I am getting 'certificate error' warning on certain websites. nothing seems to help

ran virus scan, tried updating expired certificates, etc. any ideas?

Have you tried this.

Check your clock and make sure the time is correct

and also the day/date/year as well.

go to tools in your task bar up top. choose options then choose security. Lower your security settings. make sure you have a good anti virus firewall and maybe even defender running. there is a section in security that deals specifically with certificates which you can uncheck instead of lowering it overall.
