I am getting a little discouraged...Will I be able to get pregnant?

Ok, heres my deal. I am 33 and I have one child who is 13. When she was a baby, I got pregnant again but I had a miscarriage. So, I went on Depo-Provera for like 11 yrs and then I switched to an IUD for the last year. I had it removed two months ago and have tried both months to conceive with no success. I know I was ovulating, my periods are very regular, Im in fairly good health and I really thought I would get pregnant right away! :( I got knocked up so easily when I was young...do I still have a good chance at 33??

I'm 37. It took me 5 months to get pg. You only have a 15% chance each month after the age of 32 or something close to that. Just keep trying. It will happen. It is true what they say. When you stop thinking about it...it happens. That's what happened to me in my 5th month. Good luck hon!

as long as your under 35 you still have a good chance.  go to see a doctor for a checkup tho.  i did the same thing just to be on the safe side. im 32  TTC#1

Sure there's still a chance but you have to keep in mind that you are older now.  2 months is not a very long time to be trying for a baby.  Most Drs don't even do fertility testing until it's been a year.  Give it some more time.

Depo provera for 11 years - i was told by my gp that anybody should only be on it for a maximum of 5 years as it can lead to osteoperosis - brittle bones.

yea you have a good chance of getting pregnant.

i was on depo for 5 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years now.  Periods were back to normal straight away when i came off and are like clockwork now.  But it can take upto 2 years to get out of your system.

u should go speak to your gp.
