  1. For a long tailed grass lizard (Takydromus sexlineatus, I suppose) you will need:

    1. A 15 gallon long or larger (if more than one, for 2 a 20 long) terrrarium with screen lid

    2. Reptile Carpet or ReptiBark for substrate

    3. Hideaway (half log, cave, tube, etc.)

    4. Plastic or silk plants, driftwood, and other climbing decor

    5. Heat source (heat lamp with 60-75 watt bulb is better than a heat pad)

    6. Food and water dish

    7. Supply of food (details later)

    8. Multivitamin and Calcium with D3 supplements

    9. Calcium dish

    9. Long Tailed Grass Lizard(s)

This whole setup may cost you anywhere from $100-$150 for startup.

Long tailed grass lizards are from Southeast Asia.  They have a tail that is longer than their body, so when you see on caresheets that their length is 12", they are really only like 5".  They can live alone or in groups.  One of the few lizards that are social with others.  You can hold them, but be careful because they are very fast so hold them in a safe area.  You can feed them crickets, mealworms, wax worms, butterworms, silkworms, pheonix worms, and other insects.  Don't collect your own insects, buy them (it will cost less than vet bills).  Here is a link to a page and remember to do a lot research: http://www.centralpets.com/animals/repti...  Good luck. :D
