  1. check out animalplanet.com   they will have lists on pets and birds

  2. If you are that sure that it is simple then why don't you give it a go? Have you bought a good handbook on Lovebirds? Surely you are not that certain of your skills that you don't need a book on how to hand raise birds? Good luck. Go to Ebay and buy a couple of books and read and learn the right way to raise birds. People think that you can just throw two birds together and they will raise you some baby love birds. What are you going to do with them? Most pet shops won't buy birds from individuals. You should learn about lovebirds before you decide that you are going to breed them.

  3. Hello.

Breeding lovebirds is not hard ( I have done it and succeeded it ) All you have to do is find a breeder near you ...who is willing to sell a breeding proven pair ( this is easier for a new beginner like you , they already know how and they have had babies before , all you have to do is give them water and food and clean the cage )  Once you buy the birds, the breeder can show you how . Too bad I don't know where you are , I am located in De , and I have 4 breeding proven pairs that I want to sell because I no longer wish the breed them . If you don't know how to find a breeder near you ...go to www.hoobly.com , they have some lovebirds breeders there .

These are the things you would need for breeding lovebirds .

A cage with a hole for the nest box hook on it . ( suitable for lovebirds )

A nest box ( the lovebird's size nest box  )

Cockateils seed ( lovebirds eat cockateils seed ) , fresh water , all the things which cockateils eat such as snack and green ...and ofcourse a breeding pair ( male & female ) . It takes 3 weeks for lovebirds to hatch . Hope this help. TM.
