I am getting a new saddle on saturday?

What kind should i get. i am looking for a light brown ALL PURPOSE english saddle. What kind should i get. A picture would be awesome

I take it you're going to a store to shop.  Remember keep your purchase of a saddle to something made in Europe.  India and Argentine saddles have not only questionable craftsmanship but leather as well.  Also be aware that some cheaper companies tell you it's European leather, but don't tell you where the saddle is made.  VERY scary.

What size is your horses withers, and what size saddle are you looking for?

I have 2 saddles for sale;  One Junior Pessoa 15 3/4 medium tree-$850

One Henry de Rivel narrow tree 16 1/2- $500

Basically i would get a saddle that can fit any horse.  There are saddles that have changeable gullets, so that you make sure it is a perfect fit for you horse.  There are two types of saddles like that, that I know of.  They are: Bates and Wintec.

There are many websites that have those saddles, and you can find exactly what you are looking for.  I would try Dover, or go to a store near you and see what they have.

i got an english saddle for christmas last year and i got a crump close contact all purpose saddle. i absolutley LOVE it!!! it was a pretty good deal and has a great quality in my experience. good luck on your hunt for a new saddle!!
