get a guinea pig they are so cute and loving and they make some amazing noises. of all my pets my guinea pig holds a special place in my heart. probably second to my dog, so if you dont want a piggie get a dog.

it depends on what your looking for. if you want a pet to play with, run you should get a dog but they are alot more work than most pets and cant be left alone for long periods of time.  cats are playful but mostly like to hang around with you but can still be alot of work but can be left alone for longer periods of time.  if you want a pet that not any work get a fish, bird or hampster.  they are nice to have if you are busy alot and just want something there.

germen shephard, but if you live in an apartment get a small dog. You could get a cat but they dont play with u as much as dogs.

Well your startin out right,research,more research and again more research.Everything depends on you,where you live,your patience and time able to be devoted to it?The life expectancy of the pet and can you invest that much time into it?How many pets have you had in your lifetime?How much can you afford to spend on the pet?Not just to purchase it,but feed it,vet bills,shots or other maintenances?You have so many more questions to ask yourself as well.Are kids involved or likely to be involved later?Most pets become your family and some can be extremely jealous of new additions.So many more questions,I could be here all day.Bottom line,RESEARCH and ask every question you could possibly even consider.

You should get a kitty!  Or a puppy!  Both cute!  If you get a dog get a Yorkshire terrier, they don't shed.
