What's the difference of a box and a fun box. What are the different kinds of boxes and how do you ride them? How do you tell them all apart? Is a ramp the same as a kicker and how do you hit and land those? Thanks.

  1. not sure about a funbox expect on a skate board but a box is pretty much a rail with a wide slippery surface.  you ride them like a rail but watch out the edges are sticky and the middle is slippery.  there are different kinds of kink boxes.  some are down flat down, flat down, flat down flat, ect.  you just have to try them and go with the flow.  there are also rainbow boxes that are like a big arch.  when yougo down your legs feel like they drop out from under you.  a kicker is what a ramp is really called.  when you hit em you have to makes sure your board is flat.  don't go off of your toe or heel edge.  ollie when you get to the top and be prepared for a lip that will kick you up.  when you land just try to stay straight and not catch an edge.  agian you just have to try it and find out what you have to do.

  2. well to start,  from wat i understand funboxes and boxes are like really wide rails. a small ramp is  kicker. a huge ramp is a booter. basically you just have to go for it. if you are just going to hit it without any tricks just go for it. when i hit the jumps, i go up to it slightly on my to edge and just soar off it. start off with the little kickers before moving onto the bigger jumps. heres a decent video for little jumps. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qseZkggob...

heres a video for the boxes and rails also
