I kind of like the vintage garden theme. Please I could really use some unique ways to have guest find there table

when i first read your question i thought it said 'i'm getting married and i need ideas for green card holders'. i've heard of theme weddings but ideas for people who had green cards tripped me out.

ha!!

my idea would be, don't waste money on place card holders!! people will see them think 'oh how cute' for all of two seconds, then move it out of the way and that will be the end of it.

in keeping with your theme though i'd suggest heavy ivory cardstock (tented; folded in half so it stands on its own) with each guests name written beautifully on it in olive, with a small beautiful garden flower placed in front of each. like maybe a baby ivory rosebud with a small bit of stem.

elegant, and cost efficient!

Have little cards when the guest walk in that say "Name" and Underneath "Table X"  Alphabetize alphabetically! Have all the tables marked clearly with that number!  The wedding I went to also had cute card holders at the table, too. Since both were musicians, there where little music stands you put your card in at the table. :) Find a common interest of you and your new spouse and find something cute!
