I am getting married and want ideas since I am not hiring a coordinator. ?

Question

I want to know how to set up the tables and if there are any websites of table arrangements out there when I look I find nothing. I want the table number holders and also want something unique as a favor but not something ppl will throw away. HELP!

Okay I just got married July 12, 2008 and I did not have a wedding coordinator and I do not regret it at all however,

1) I agree theknot.com really helpful- they have some cute ideas there but are rather expensive, if you are on a tight budget try orientaltrading.com. they have a GREAT weeding section. I got a lot of stuff there.

2) You don't need a wedding coordinator. EXPENSIVE!!! However I would recommend recuriting some of your friends NOT in the wedding party to help. I had two friends that helped me with everything, they knew going in they would be constantly on the move. I would have never gotten it done with out them.

3) As for a favor that someone would not through away I would suggest a candle or picture frame of some sort. -

We did candy- There was a hug, a promise and kiss in a small box, the outside a tag that said "Sweet Bliss begins with a hug, a promise and kiss." everyone loved them.

4) Table set up try bridal magazines. - also trying typing into yahoo search "pictures of wedding tables" I came up with a lot of pictures when I did so.

This was they way I found my cake too, type in "pictures of wedding cakes"
