I am getting prank called, what should I do?

my mom answered the phone and got upset. I have a good idea of who it was. SO I can either beat the guy up, or call the police and let them deal with it. What should I do?

call them back and give them a piece of ur mind...but make sure its not one of ur friends....and if they talked 2 ur mom then i think they should stop...if they ever do it again, threaten them,.... :D

The best way to go about this is to call your local police station and file a formal complaint. They will assign you a case number and a detective - once you have that information you will call your local telephone company and their support team will submit an inquiry based on the subpoena the police file and will trace the call. After the call is traced the information is sent to the police department and they will handle the case from that point forward.

In the mean time a quick fix is to ask your local telephone provider to add Annonymous Call Reject to your account that does not let any calls come through that have blocked Caller ID

Beat the guy up and go to jail or call the police and not go to jail.  Tough decision
