I am go to study in central tafe, perth. what are the suburb nearer to stay?

i am come for study at central tafe, mount lawley, perth, i am looking share room with low budget around the suburbs, not more than 5km, my friend adviced subiaco, it is right?

  1. Central TAFE is, unfortunately, located in prime real estate, and all of the surrounding suburbs are expensive.

    Subiaco would be almost 5km away anyway, and is Not Cheap.

    You could consider living a bit further away and near the train line (e.g. Glendalough, Maylands).  Central TAFE is right near the train station and a free CAT bus goes nearby too.


  2. If you are looking for low budget, unless your lucky, Subiaco would not be the best choice as it is a posh suburb. Otherwise you could also look at Leederville, East Perth or even mount Lawley
