I am going Kayaking this weekend. Does anyone know what size cooler I will be able to fit in my kayak?

I don't know the specific make/brand of kayak. All I was told is that they are 1-person kayaks. We're renting them.

If it's a hardshell kayak, then probably no size of cooler. Just take a little lunchbox and try and make it fit.

Well, your best choice is going to be a small soft sided collapsible type of cooler.One that you'll be able to squeeze in a small area.

Depending on how long your day will be, you each may want your own soft cooler to make sure you'll have what you need and they'll fit in your kayaks, since you don't know the sizes your renting.

Chances are they are whitewater kayaks There is little free room in them. Space is often used up with air bags for flotation. Some air bags allow storage. Break up your baggage and load it into flat plastic containers of 2 quart sizes. Ice and water can be carried in freezer bags. Call the renting company and ask them. They may rent such gear.
