I am going in a fishing match in a few weeks any advice ?

need to know what bait to use because it is my first ever match

make Friends with the people in a local bait shop buy tons of bait tackle license and any thing else they suggest and they may turn you on with some good advice, I know here in Florida the bait and technique will change from lake to lake and season to season for the same fish

fish the place before hand...some tourneys do not allow this but it's normally a 48 hour to 1 week rule. fish it, find the spots and right baits, and use em. practice is the key to winning........and a little luck. GOOD LUCK!

it's really just a suggestion but where what when are very helpfull details. if it's bass depends heavily on time, water clarity, temperature, and barometric pressure as what to use ask some old timers where this match is going on at and they will help u out much better than yahoo answers, good luck and start practicing
