  1. Don't try to fit in with everyone else, chances are you probably will to avoid being the girl who sticks out like a sore thumb. But as you grow up, you'll develop a style of your own.

  2. Don't get a backpack. Get a cute but sturdy tote bag.

Stick with whatever style you feel comfortable in otherwise you'll look like a poser.

Buy flats. Because they're good in all weather (as opposed to flip flops), prettier then tennis shoes, and comfy.

Don't worry about accessories too much. Concentrate more on studying then accessorizing.

  3. i'm a sophmore so heed my advice : )

sure carry a backpack, but you'll realize it's pointless to use it, you'll either carry your books or get one of those huge victoria secret totes and use it.

clothing: wear something cute and kinda dressy, but something you feel comfortable in, such as a dressier top with a cute pair of jeans, i personally like skinny jeans, i tell my mom i might as well show off what i have (really long legs: )

shoes: i like ballet flats, they are nice if your school has stairs, but i wear heels alot to, black suede roundtoe pumps go with anything.

Birkenstocks are always comfortable too if i'm having an offday : )

accessories: get some chuncky jewlery, or something simple yet elegant, i like pearls and a single diamond necklace, but i also like the crazy colored jewlery you can get for like a buck.

  4. i'm going into 9th grade too. my backpack is a dark blue, nothin special. i have got my jeans from Koahls. as far as tops, i have some from hollister, abercrombie, and aeropostale. target also has cute tops and jeans now(i got some tops there). i'm more just a flip-flop person, but since i'm going into 9th grade, i did buy some different colored flats. i have a few necklaces 2 bracelets a ring and a pair of earing, and i'll change those around depending on what i'm wearing. i hope i helped. i hope we both look good on our first day in 9th grade.lol!!

  5. ummm well i say get oversized bag as a backpack

and ummm wear something that shows off ur eyes

for more info tell me ur eye color hair color height and body type and ill email u PERFECT out fit

    =)

  6. Dress your style, but remember not to dress like a sl*t. I cannot tell you how many freshman had made that mistake in my school.

If you're the girly type, maybe some flats, one of those beach bag looking things, some silver necklaces, nice color combos (for example blue and green) jeans, and some cute tops

avoid neons and super duper brights! bleh. (unless you like it)

but always remember to dress something that defines you in some way. following everything else just sort of makes you that normal girl, yadda mean? give a little touch of you :D good luck!

  7. im going to the ninth grade too :] ♥ Um backpack you can get a tote or a backpack. as long as the back pack isnt humunguess and doesnt go over your booty.  please dress with style dont look tacky the first year. like wear skinny jeans or regular, capris, bermuda shorts and cute tops. and cute accesories like necklaces with a big heart or peace sign. yeah so good luck.

  8. ok :)

    backpack:

    most people use tote

bags - you should get a

    unique one! forever21 has

    really cute, cheap tote bags.

    and american apparel has totes

in, like, every color of the rainbow!

    dress:

    don't dress like everyone else,

but don't do 'unique' things that've been

played out. (ex. wear a triangle plaid scarf,

fedora, leggings, and gladiators all the time)

get some basic stuff that you know looks

good - boot cut jeans, skinny jeans, belts, hoodies,

flats, running shoes, plain tees, and go on from there.

    gap is awesome!

    shoes:

    wear cute & comfy ones!

whatever you like - i remember i wore these shoes

one day that were so uncomfortable they gave me blisters

and my feet bled and i had to walk part of the way home bare

    foot - ewwwww.

    accessories:

    get anything you like!

wait til the last minute for sales.

    good luck in school!

hope you look cute on the first day (:

  9. ok. Book bag=get either one of those AMerican eagle or hollister, whatever tote bag or Northface f***y pack or Northface bookbag. i think everything else u can get is from aeropostale, Hollister, Abercrombie, or Amercian eagle. im going to be 10th grader this fall and all the girls wear those things

  10. I know High School seems 'scary' and people automatically think of stereotypes and such, but please just be yourself. Don't wear things you normally wouldn't just to impress people. Dont over do it in make up, it's annoying. Im not saying to not try on new things, because that's always fun but wear what you LIKE.

Also if your school allows you to carry some sort of backpack around school, I'd suggest using a tote bag instead of an actual backpack. They're much more nicer and easier to carry around. Check out some Roxy totes or something.
