I am a specialist in Religion and I studied Hinduism, Buddhism and other religions. I wrote a research paper on modern Hindu devotion in the form of virtual pujas, how they work and what they provide. Anyway, college is more my style and I don't mid teaching children, but I want to move on to adults and what I know, I don't think children would appreciate it or I know how to design my classes to a child's development. In other words, I only know how college and university works and elementary, that's not my style.

  1. So, you are currently getting a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education right? If you are still in college and have time, switch your major to something that you would like. However, if you can't I would recommend going back to a University after this to further your education to get your Masters and maybe a P.H.D. But you can also teach on the side to get some money.

You would probably find it more enjoyable to get up to teaching college students because most Universities have classes with Religion and Cultures in them.

    Good Luck with your ventures!

  2. You could work on getting into a Masters' program in Theology, if you don't already have an advanced degree, become an adjunct instructor at a community college, and then work your way into the college scene.

Since you like to study so much, the whole experience might be fun.
