what you need:

4-6 notebooks (depending on your electives)

pens and pencils

6 folders

a hilighter

binders depends on your teacher...last year i needed a binder for math, english, and science.. so get about 3 or 4.

most teachers require dividers with the binder, i needed them with all my binders.

sharpener/erasers (optional)

pretty much what you needed in 7th grade

go to kmart their notebooks and folders are $.09

everything is really cheap there

Just buy the basics for now and they'll give it to you in the 1st or 2nd day.

its the same as 7th grade.
