I am going into the 6 grade i dont know what to expect help?

and everything butt just a little more advancedd

I just graduated 6th grade! 6th grade is a lot different than 5th grade but in my opinion 6th grade was a lot more fun than 5th grade. The work is harder, but there are so many oppertunities you have it's pretty sweet.

Dont worry

i have a lot of short friends and i really dont mind

just be confident and go in there with a positive attitude,things will work out fine.

i was scared to ,but then i realized i was just making it hard for myself.   just relax,dont worry to much!

don't worry about it. it doesn't matter if ur short just do your best in every class and have fun. i'm starting 7th grade in Sep so i know how u feel but i ended up having a great year and i learned new things and had lots of fun with the new friends i made.

Don't worry! I have given this talk many times to my neighbor who is also going to be going into the grade. I will give it to you now. 6th grade is really nothing new. Believe it or not. Of course, you get much more freedom - which is a plus! The first couple weeks of the beg. of school will be hard because in the morning you go straight to your locker [if you get one], unlock it [which can take some getting used to], grab everything you need [ which takes a moment or two to remember everything!], and try to make it to your next class.

The first couple of weeks the teacher's will cut you some slack. They will allow extra time for you at your lockers and remembering where all your classes are. You also get to change teachers/rooms for every class. If you have four different teachers you get one for S.S, LA, SCIENCE, MATH. You also now have to start changing for gym class which may seem kind of awkward but really it's not.

You are probably very scared self conscious about yourself right now. Questioning - Am i going to fit in? How will i get to class on time? Will they like me? Well the answer is YES. I am also short too, but hey, what's wrong with it? Like seriously, would you rather be super tall, or short? I would prefer short, BUT that's my opinion but i respect whatever your opinion is. Sixth grade really isn't hard.

Also, Don't talk bad about others. Drama gets worse, i hate to say. Girls are trouble and that's all they cause when you talk bad behind someones back. Treat your friends well and be who you truly are and you'll be fine. Boys? They're just like regular. You can't live with them, can't live without em.  Oh, and there are really no bullies just some stupid fights. You'll get along fine though i'm sure :]

Homework is moderate, well for us and was. You will have a fun year i promise. Don't let the fear of striking out, keep you from playing the game.  Good luck hun.

Well when I was going into six grade, it was new. My school wasn't the best school either. But I made great grades only 1 B in math, which isn't the best for me because I hate math. I am also pretty tall. But trust me you will not be the only short one!! Are some  of your friends from your elementary school coming to this school? Don't expect what you see mostly on t.v. about  bullies taking lunch money. Just expect more advanced classes and homework from almost every class on the  weekend. Don't try and be a class clown, or talk back to your teacher. I did that a couple of times and it got me to the office, and without my cell phone for a week. But also don't be 2-faced to  friends. Don't depend on your friends as much, and don't get into friends. When I first got my phone I was called to the office for supposedly instigating a fight which neve happened and was without my phone for a month which sucked cause it was a b-day gift. But middle school is caught fun and there is a lot to enjoy! Have fun!!!

6th grade was my favorite year, just shake off fears, its a great ride so make the bes tof it before you have to get off. Just make as many friends as possible and label yourself as available and you'll glide right through middle school.

Its alot of review. The older kids don't pay much attention to you. When your in the halls you get pushed around a bit but just push back. Honestly you'll be fine. Ps. Like half the student bodie is short (: have fun

I personally hated sixth grade, less than fourth,, but I still hated it. Its fine though. When the teachers tell you its so much harder and stuff, its all c**p. The teachers don't care,, and just stick with your friends from elementary school and try to make new ones.
