I am going on a cruise and I have paid for 2 excursions that I am worried about....?

I choose the EXTREME boat ride in the port of Conzumel and the zip-line canopy tour in Belize. Has anyone done either of these? Any pointers that can keep me safe? Where they fun?

Just pay attention to the instructions they give you and use common sense and you will be fine.  Hate to correct your spelling but it is "chose" and "Cozumel".  Enjoy your cruise.  I am planning one myself and plan to go on the Mayan pyramid shore excursion in Cozumel myself, but then I am a bit of an archeology geek(mainly Egyptology, but do enjoy Mesoamerican Archaeology as well).

Don't know anything about the "extreme boat ride" [doesn't sound interesting to me, as you're just getting off a boat to get on another?].  

The zip-line tour in Belize is a long bus ride from the port, although I know someone who did it and really enjoyed it.

My experience is that Coz is a very easy port to do an excursion on your own [provided you leave plenty of time to get back to the ship] and Belize is a port where you want to do a ship excursion, although the cave tubing by independent providers does get good reviews.  [I also know someone who did that excursion and loved it, although it involves a lot of hiking.]

All shot excursions are safe..if they weren't they wouldn't provide them...i have been to both places and they are both extremely fun...don't worry and just have fun

The best advice is to listen and follow any instructions given - theyre there for a reason. If you dont think you can pull it off the skip it, its better to be without an experience than to be dead or wounded.

The reason that they could it extreme is that there could be a risk in it. But usually its a fun and safe experience. Johan

Went to Cozumel and they have excellent guides that will keep you safe, never have been to Belize, have a friend from there and says it is awesome................
