  1. Haha!!

I just got off of the Carnival Inspiration July 14th!

When I was in Grand Cayman I went to swim with the stingrays and to go snorkeling, the stingrays were magnificent and extremely fun, my aunt and I really enjoyed it (we are 19 and 12). The snorkeling was OK there isn't alot to see because of all the tourists messing it up, I don't reccomend that at all, you should go to Cozumel for the snorkeling.

When I was in Cozumel I went to see the Ancient Mayan Ruins and It was extremely beautiful, but remember to not be lured into the people that are not accociated with your tour guide, there are alot of robberies and kidnappings there so be careful. When you are finished with the tour you will have about 20 minutes on the beautiful beach then you get back on the bus and go to the island of Cozumel, on Cozumel there are alot , ALOT of people getting you to buy things when you walk down the street or when your in the mall, that is extremely annoying.

At the mayan ruins it is extremely hot and you have to walk alot.

At Grand Cayman it is extremely hot and the sun is beating down so at both places make sure to wear alot of sunscreen.

Snorkle and Stingray safari- about 90$ a person.

Mayan Ruins- about 120$ a person.

BTW-The Carnival Inspiration is a fabulous ship, you will enjoy it =]

I hope you enjoy your cruise, all I know is that my family sure did =D

  2. Depends on what you consider cheap.  For about $80 per person you should consider the "Isla Pasion Twister" while in Cozumel.  It is a speed boat that seats about 18 people and it's controlled by two steering wheels.  It will do 360's that will rival ANY ride you've ever been on and they will do lots of 360's. There were four people in our group (ages 18 to 41) and everyone was having an awesome time.  They'll take you to an island and you have open bar and buffet that's included in the price.  The drinks were good and the food was unbeleivable!  We relaxed there for several hours (beautiful secluded beach with water trampoline, lounge chairs, kayaks, segways, etc.) then it was back on the Twister to head back to the ship.  More 360's followed and we were all laughing and soaking wet.  We shopped in Cozumel and returned to the ship in time to sail off.  Make sure that you bring some dry clothes in a water tight bag cause everything will get wet on this excursion.

While in Grand Cayman head out to Sting Ray City or try a dolphin encounter, that's an experience you should try.  I've been on Carnival cruises before and they offer great excursions but make sure you sign up early or they could be filled.  Talk to others when you reach your port of embarkation and ask them what they've been on and you'll get some good ideas there.  It really depends on how much you're willing to pay, how much energy you're willing to exert, and if you want to be around kids.

    Bon Voyage!
