I will have two children with me, ages 7 and 11, and I don't want them to be too bored. It would be nice to have some where cool to stop along the way besides fast-food restaurants and a yucky hotel.

  1. http://info.means.it

you can get much information in this website, If you will check anyone blue link in website.

  2. Stop in Amarillo at the Big Texan Steakhouse, home of the 72 oz steak. You don't have to eat at the restaurant. It has a fun gift shop, a giant rocking chair, slot machines kids can play-my 8 year old loved it. Of course we did eat there and he ordered rattlesnake, but none of us ordered the big steak! We also visited the zoo in Amarillo, nothing exceptional, but it was a good excuse to get some excercise and do something educational at the same time.

And if you have them Game Boys and PSPs are road trip salvation!

  3. Amarillo,TX

  4. Don't drive from Dallas thru El Paso, that is the longest most boring ride ever, take the drive towards Amarillo and go to Arizona that way. You can stop and see Palo Duro Canyon State Park

    Amarillo, Texas it's beautiful :)
