bring £20.00, but u'll probably wont eat lunch because the queues take bloody ages to eat so bring a packed lunch and thn buying stuff from the gift shop is a lil expensive and useless so i doubt u'll buy anything apart from pens and that

  3. 1) How long would a bus journey from Glasgow to Alton Towers take from experience?

         -Probably around 5-6 hours.

    2) What are the queues like at the end of June- it is a weekday?

-Usually the queues are very long for the bigger rides in the summer but as it is a school day they shouldn't be as busy. It really depends how many schools/people are there that day and what rides you are queing for.

    3) How much money should I bring for lunch/giftshop?

-I'd bring your own lunch and drinks and bring around £15 for the gift shop.

  6. to be honest, I've been loads of times with my school and never yet have I purchased lunch at Alton Towers. The prices are really high...take a packed lunch if you can. If you insist I suggest you take about £30.

The queues will definately be long but they go down quite quick...about 1 hour on the big rides and not so long on the smaller ones.. although its a school day all the high schools by Chester go to Alton Towers in June. as part of relax week.

    Have a great time.

  7. I don't know how long the bus journey will take, but the queues might not be too bad, depending on the ride & your teacher will tell you how much you are allowed to take, my daughter went on a school trip & she was allowed to take up to £50. Hope you have a great time.

  8. queues will not be too long because it is a school day, but be prepared, there will proably be hundreds of schools going that day.

you will need to take quite a bit of money, the restaurants and gift shops are expensive but their really really good, have a nice day at alton towers

  9. 1) Never done the journey but I reckon it will take 5/6 hours including stops.

    2) Queues will not be bad. Maximum wait at that time of year will be about 20 minutes.

    3) Take your own fluids (especially water) and packed lunch. Lunches are expensive. Maybe 10 pounds for the gift shop.

  10. 1) That's gonna take you about 5 and a half hours I would say.

    2) The queues shouldn't be too bad as english schools are still in and it is a weekday.

    3) Lunch will probably cost you about £5 - I remember it mostly being fast food, and it'll depend what you wanna buy in the giftshop I suppose.  Take about £20.

    Have fun!! x
