I have racked my brain on where to hide my money so it doesn't get stolen. I came up with the back cover of my book, taped the cover down, and can slide the bills inside. Someone else told me to wrap the bills around the batteries inside a flashlight. Any other ideas?

  1. theres probably a pot of flowers or something like that in the hotel. put youry  money in a sandwhich bag and carefully bury it. thats probably good

  2. get travelers checks, you can get new ones if they are stolen, Maids know all the good hiding places they will find your money, you could hide it in a tube inside a jar of peanut butter

  3. you guys give me so much jokes in the days

  4. I think your fear of having your money stolen is really unfounded. Good advice for any traveler shopping is to take only enough cash for the day, but having been to Jamaica five times, I've never felt threatened or uneasy about being ripped off. We always use the safe in our room. Jamaicans are wonderful people; just because they struggle economically does not make them dishonest, but you could certainly help by tipping generously, donating to an orphanage, and by packing extra items for children . It's all about respect. I'd be much more apprehensive in large European cities where pick pocketing is an art.

  5. If you are travelling to Jamaica, stay at a decent hotel. They always have safe in the hotel rooms. USE THE SAFE. If you want to be sure about the security of the device itself, put things in the safe that would catch a fingerprint, or be displaced when next the safe is opened.

Bear in mind that maids trying to rip off hotel rooms is a problem thats NOT unique to Jamaica.

  6. GUESS WHAT IF YOUR SO SCARED DONT VISIT ,WHENEVER YOU CHECK IN AT ANY HOTEL THE WILL GIVE TO YOU A KEY TO A SFE THO PUT YOUR VALUABLES IN , IF YOU GO ON THE ROAD NO ONE WOULD DARE TO ROBB U IF YOU DONT GIVE THEM THE OPPURTUNITY TO  ANY WHERE IN THE WORLD YOU GO ITS THE SAME IF YOUR COMING ITS BEST TO PLAY SAFE THE LOCALS ARE NICE TO MINGLE WITH AND IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET ROBBED SAY AT AN ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL  AND RELAX  OK ITS NOT THAT BAD  AS U MAKE IT SEAMS

  7. Most hotels in Jamaica come with a vault . I know this because I live here. You be able to set a combination and all of your possessions will be fine. Besides Jamaicans aren't thieves, you'll be fine.

  8. If anyone told you a good place to hide your money, everyone that reads this would know and it wouldn't be a good place any more.  If I see a book with tape all over it, I'm going to become courious.  How many tourists bring a flashlight to Jamaica--obvious that something suspicious is happening with the flashlight.  Use ATMs and just withdraw enough money daily for your spending.  Put purchases on credit cards too.  This is a problem all over the world, not just Jamiaca.

  9. dear friend . jamaica is not as bad as it may be describe but we must all take precaution in any case you con place your money in your braw or you can all ways use your credit cord also try not to be overly Dre's because at that time you are notice  apart from that you are good . you may already now that i am Jamaican i have bin living in the states for the past four months but i will be visiting my home country in a few months
