I am going on an Egyptian Nile cruise.....?

For dinner in the evenings, we have to wear clothes that are smart but casual, basically no jeans.

What could I wear?

Anything that covers you, probably you might have mosquitos there. Also it is a good idea to put several layers on in case it gets cold at night.

Depending on what time of year you are going will depend on what you can wear.  Google the temperatures because egypt tends to be hot most of the time and wearing something linen might be the way to go.  Long sleeves not only eliminates mosquito bites but unwanted attention from men and on that note i'd wear trousers rather than a skirt.
