  1. Check with Spain's regulations.  Many countries insist that your passport is good for 6 months and yours will only be good for 4.  Their Embassy in your country should have a website listing these regulations.


  2. No. You shouldn't need to update your passport assuming you are not from Spain. You may need to obtain a visa depending on where you are from.

  3. Depends. You would only need to renew it if you were staying in Gran Canaria for longer than Feb 07. Otherwise, you're very, very safe to travel without renewing.
