  1. the cruise line provide Sea-Calm for you.  It works very well.  Do not take two the first time until you see how they work for you.  You can also buy the sea bands.  They also work.  Do not let sea sickness worry you about a great vacation you are about to have.

  2. Take Dramamine with you just in case.  If you do get seasick...stick to very small light meals until you get used to the motion of the ship.  It should go away then.

  3. like above post said yes there are diffrent pills and eat light meals avoid laying down unless its night and you need to sleep stay in an upright position in general

  4. I get carsick, and when I went on my cruise nothing was really bad. Most of the time you don't even realize you're on a ship! It's really big and doesn't rock, and the only time you are sailing is at night. If you do get sick, wear those wristbands. They apply pressure to the point that can take away nausea.

Bye, and good luck. Enjoy your vacation!

  5. I was worried about the same thing when I went on my first cruise. The ship is so big, you really cannot feel it move and I did not experience any motion sickness. My grandmother went with me and she is very sensitive to motion sickness and it didn't bother her either. Take some medicine with you just in case but do not stress, you will most likely be fine. Enjoy your trip!!

  6. just enjoy yourself.  cruises are meant to relax, not to be stressed.  if you are pale, bring a TON of sunscreen.  u will get burnt.  just remember, RELAX

and for the motion sickness, just stay with light meals and (stay near the railing) (*JK*)

don't stress out about what to bring, just bring a couple of bathing suits and some $$ and your regular clothes

    DONT forget the toiletries

  7. Ms; nothing to be stressed about. You do not even know or feel the ship moving. You can get sea sick pills at any drug store plus they have a full medical staff on every ship. Just relax and focus on other things.

  8. i have been on 4 cruises ( one in very high seas) and am also prone to motion sickness the best thing u can do is take this drug called boneimine ( not sure how to spell it) take it before u board the ship and it last for 24 hours keep taking the pills all cruise long and you will be fine have a good trip :)

  9. I was worried about that also when we went on a cruise.  Someone told me to buy Ginger capsules and start taking them a day or two before we got on the ship and keep taking them everyday while on ship.  I decided to do that over all other drugstore remedies, Dramamine, etc. Some of them have side effects....where as Ginger has none. It did the trick, not even a inkling of being sea sick. I was told a lot of people take them if they get car sick or plane sick also and it works very well.

I best add to this, that I have been told, do not wait till you get sick, its to late then. Start taking the pills before you ever get on ship, you don't want to waste one day of your trip, being sick.
