I am going on my honeymoon Sep.6 how is the weather in cancun??

we are leaving on Sep.6 we would like to know how the weather is in cancun around that time of the year?

The weather can be quite nice at this time of year, but what the other posters have said is true. It is hurricane season in Cancun from June - November. However, and here's the ironic part, some of the best water and air temps are experieinced during the month of September. What you can expect is to experience humid conditions, and rain showers passing during the night. If a hurricane does strike however, don't worry, the locals down there are experts at dealing with such events and do a fine job protecting the tourists.

September is hot and humid a great time to be close to the water to cool off.

Here in Cancun there is generally a cooling breeze from the ocean.

Yes, it is hurricane season which means tropical storms &/or hurricanes can happen because the conditions are right. However...if you live in a place that gets snow and your snow season is December thru February...is there always snow?

Cancun is prepared for what ever happens (especially since Wilma, October 2005).

I say come on down and bring plenty of sunscreen you are going to need it!!!

Check this site for previous years weather history. I entered Sept 6 to Sept 14th for dates. But you will get an idea what to expect for Sept weather. Be prepared it's hurricane season. Take out hurricane travel insurance as a backup plan.
