  1. Living in Myrtle Beach, and playing host to family and friends, I have been tasked many times to come up with good activities on a tight budget.  With this experience I give the following advice.

    1) When making reservations or buying tickets ask for any discounts or deals.  Many of these will be unadvertised and change regularly.

    2) Always let the ticket seller know if you are active or retired military, a senior citizen, a local resident, a AAA member, a teacher, etc.

    3) If you plan to do an activity multiple times ask about a season pass. For ex: several of the area miniature golf courses are owned by the same company.  If you play 10 rounds on these courses over your stay a season pass will save you $3.00 per round.

    4) Residents can get a state park vehicle pass at the local library for $30.00.  This is good for one year from the purchase date for unlimited entry to all of the South Carolina State Parks.

    5) There are 4 different coupon books for attractions throughout the area.  These are free  and available at the tourist info centers and free stands outside many area stores.

The Myrtle Beach Herald weekly newspaper is running a list of free activities and events throughout the summer.  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœFree Fun” is updated and changes each week.

  2. GO TO SENOR FROGS! its at the boardwalk of broadway place..its so fun! its not seafood, its mexican..but its really good and its fun..theres like karoke and lots of fun stuff....

  3. A fun place to vacation & great places to eat. We have been to Myrtle Beach a dozen times over the years and have always made at least one stop out to Murrell's Inlet (South Myrtle Beach) for a good seafood meal. Our first time in the 60's, there were only three restaurants to choose from, which were all good.  Now there are many food offerings, hotels, and shopping. I think you would enjoy a visit.
