we have been going out for a year and we like each other alot we have gotton close to s*x but i think i am a little to young so i told her when i am 4 it would be ok should i follow through with my decision?

AT least 14,  you know you do not have to just have s*x just to have s*x.  It is really pretty disappointing for very young people, including boys,  over very quickly, don't have any experience in learning to make love, so it is pretty boring, guys say that to guys.  It is because kids Rush this, they do not take time to learn to be lovers.  Slow and easy, kisses and hugs for a couple years until you get comfortable around girls.  One of my male friends told me the worst mistake he had ever made was to lose his virginity before he was 18.  He went through years of being vulgar and coarse around girls because he did not know how to handle his sexuality.  He and his mates would make stupid crude jokes, treat girls without any respect because they saw them just as easy marks, to s***w  and forget.  He had a hard time growing up and having a real relationship that would lead to marriage and family and he is sure that letting his hormones lead him around really hurt him in the long run.

Anytime you have s*x, there is ALWAYS a chance that you can get pregnant.

So, don't have s*x unless:

-you can get medical care for any complications, like STDs or infections that you might get

-you can financially, and emotionally provide for a baby

You really should wait until you are married.   It will save you heartache, and worry

I'm 29 and didn't lose my virginity until I was 21.  I have only been with one man and am very proud of that.  If you start having s*x now, what will you have to be proud of?  An STD, a child, bad reputation?

God's Word tells us to wait until we are married.  There is a very good and logical reason for that.  Not only is it simply wrong in His eyes, it is also safer to wait.  No need to worry about getting an STD, being labeled as 'easy' by your peers, no need to have to be heartbroken over giving away your virginity to someone you only date for a short time, no need to worry about getting pregnant...  The list goes on and on.

So, my answer to you is to wait.  Only have s*x if:

-you are married

God loves you and wants to bless your life richly.  Wouldn't it be nice to remain part of the minority?  I am very proud of myself for not have fallen into the trap of peer pressure.  Not many women my age (or men for that matter) can say that they remained faithful and abstained until they were with their spouse.

You are too young to even be making the decision to follow through with. Not to mention tha if you are asking a bunch of strangers if you are ready then you are not. When it happens it will be because it was suppose to happen. You are so young and have so many years to have your first time. Do not let anyone push you into anything you are not ready for. Why are kids today so ready to have adult relationships? You are a child enjoy these years. Too many things can happen if you go through with it that will change your life forever.
