And I hope you have a very good time.

  2. Start to condition your body now by doing some jump rope and also running to improve your lungs.  When you arrive at Breckenridge spend the first day and night without skiing. Adjust to the thinner air and then ski.

  3. Drink lots and lots of water, avoid coffee and caffeine, eat good meals in small portions throughout the day, and get plenty of rest.  Avoid alcohol in mass quantities, this will dehydrate you making it easier to get altitude sickness.  If you start feeling sick on the mountain, try going back down to the base to see if that helps.  If it gets to the point that you start coughing up some pink foamy liquid, get the h**l back to Denver, because it is getting pretty serious at that point.  Its called Pulminary Edima (spelling),  and if you dont take action then, you may die.
