  1. Most of the travel agencies on the Costa del Sol will offer you day trips to Tangiers or Ceuta. There are also 3 day trips further south into the more beautiful cities like Casablanca, Marrakesh, etc.

Once you arrive in Benalmádena, ask at your hotels front desk, they will inform you where to find the closest travel agent. If you are not staying at a hotel, then just check out the closest agency to where you are staying... There are plenty to choose from.

    Have a good stay!

    :-)

  4. You are bound to find out once you get there...but if you don't make it to Morocco don't worry, you won't have missed much.

  5. don't know about day trips to Morocco but a trip to tivoli world is a must with or without kids...is only a couple of miles away ......am going back 22 years mind he he...also torramalinos ?is joined to benamadena

  6. That's a mighty long way for a day trip!

  7. I think you need to go to Gibraltar for days trips but I am not too sure. I know it can be done though - but not too sure about now as it is out of season

  8. Yes, you can get trips over to Morocco, just see the front desk in your hotel, they usually have various leaflets advertising trips, or find the nearest travel agent, they should have plenty to offer, many will do an over night stay, or maybe two or 3 nights, very reasonable.

PS, the weather here is lovey just now, today is about 28 degs. clear blue skies, our local airport is very busy also.

One writer mentions Tivoli, its only open at weekends now or special fiesta days, Nov 1st being one.

Try the Friday market on the Tivoli world car park, and the flea market on Wednesday mornings, in the Parque Paloma.

    bye.

  9. Yes you can catch a ferry at Algeciras and go across for the day, it will be a long day but you'll enjoy it. If you have a hire car you can drive to the port and get on the ferry. If not many of the hotels run coaches. Go to the tourist information centre in Benalmadena and they'll ring up for you. Try to avoid the weekend it's too busy and November 1st is a public holiday so the Wednesday night will be crazy because people are taking a long weekend. Remember to take your passport.

The weathers good at the moment about 25/30 degrees through the day, you'll need a sweater in the evenings as it's getting cooler.

    Have a great holiday

  10. If you want to flight there, I would suggest EasyJet. They have very good prices and fly from many cities -though I don't know the closer one to Benalmadena, i know for sure they travel to Casablanca, in Morocco. Don't forget to take a scarf for your head and a long blouse to cover your arms when indicated.

    Enjoy!
