I am going to Berlin, Germany in May. How will the weather be? What places do you recommend me to go to?

In May the weather will be fine, it will be around 19°C (66°F) and  9°C (48°F).

Places i will recommend you to visit:

- The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) is an iconic landmark of Berlin and Germany. It also appears on German euro coins (10 Cent / 20 Cent and 50 Cent). The Gate constitutes the monumental termination of Unter den Linden, a very big and famous boulevard.

- The Reichstag building is the traditional seat of the German Parliament, and a historical place.

- The Kurfürstendamm, an avenue, that is the home to some of Berlin's luxurious stores.

-The Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church (Gedächtniskirche), that is a church that was bombed during world war 2, and it is still in ruins.

- The Egyptian Museum of Berlin (Ägyptisches Museum und Papyrussammlung) is home to one of the world's most important collections of Ancient Egyptian artifacts.

- Zoologischer Garten Berlin (Tiergarten), one of the largest zoos in Germany and with the largest number of species of the world. It is located in Berlin Tiergarten near the S-Bahn and railway station in the city center.

- Potsdamer Platz, a public square where the you can find Sony Centre,among other interesting buildings.

- Fernsehturm (TV tower) there's a restaurant in the top. and is an icon of the city too.

- the Alexanderplatz, is a large open square and public transport hub in Berlin-Mitte city center, near the river Spree and the Berliner Dom,

- Olympiastadion that hosted the Olympic Games and the final of the World Cup and is the home to Hertha BSC Berlin.

Thats only a few places there are plenty of stuff to do, hope you like your visit.

Hello there, that is hard to tell as May is quite some time to go and the weather has been more than funny this year... no white Xmas in 2007, but a "white Easter" in 2008. ;)

It will be nice spring weather with temperatures ranging from 12 to 18 degrees will be my guess. It might still rain quite a bit, there might be quite summer-ish days towards mid- or the end of May. I would advice you to regularly check out the German website "www.wetter.com" and enter the zip code of your place to stay into the search bar to keep an eye on how things are developing.

Places to recommend in Berlin are too many to list here without leaving anything out. As you didn´t state what exactly you might be interested in, please check out "Berlin" on Wikipedia - there will be loads.
