I am looking for something outdoors and nightlife that would be good for a person in there 20's. I am interested in snorkeling on the reef but can't find a place that offers it. I am also interested in swimming with the dolphins. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

  1. Cabo is awesome! I would definitely stick with the activities offered by your hotel.  Trying to set something up on your own once you're off the grounds can be tricky if you don't speak a l**k of Spanish.  My favorite was seeing El Arco (The Arch), El Fin de la Terra (Land's end, where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet), and Lover's Beach.

The nightlife is crazy in Cabo.  There's a street that has tons of bars up and down.  Cabo Wabo, Squid Roe, The Gigglin Marlin, and Hard Rock were among the most happening.

Whatever you decide, be extrememly cautious! Cabo is a beautiful place to visit but is polluted with scammers and swindlers.  As soon as you step off the plane, you're instant prey. Good luck and enjoy!

  2. i just went like two weeks ago.... there are a crapload of clubs in what they call cabo wabo, the sea of cortez, and some famous arch

  3. Hola.  It all depends where you are staying.

Most of the resorts have tons of activities, and will also assist you in visiting the two towns and sightseeing/outdoors things.

There is no reef in Cabo, but you can go snorkeling at many of the bays and beaches, the most popular being Chileno and Santa Maria.  Lots of people take local buses to get to these areas, or go on boozecruises that will take you right there.

Swimming with the dolphins is one of the many activities.  Go to the website www.loscabosguide.com for more info.

As far as the nightlife, Cabo is so much fun.  The Cabo Wabo cantina, gigglin marlin, el squid roe, the zoo, etc. are all rocking 7 days a week.  Like effenwhateverhername says, they are all located in a several block radius, all walkable.  Cabo is very safe and friendly.  I always suggest to visit the clubs with friends, as like anywhere in a 3rd world country, there are opportunists that hang around these areas that are watching the goings on.  Think safe and you will be safe.

    Have a wonderful time

  5. You have to go to Cabo Wabo, and have a waborita.  YUMMY!!! For anyone that did not grow up in the 80's.  Cabo Wabo is the bar owned by Van Halen.  Anyway, that's about all I did when I was in Cabo.  Have fun!
