I am going to Cancun, Mexico in Febuary/March.

What kind of clothing do I need like short sleeve sunscreen etc.? What words do I need to know?

Most locals speak English. No need to speak spanish. Just a few words will help.

It will be warm in Cancun in Feb or March. Bring your summer clothes.

A couple of bathing suits/cover ups

shorts/tops

skirt/tops

sun dresses (2)

flip flops

nice sandals

jeans

sweater (just in case)

sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, ipod, books, money, passport,

airline tickets, hotel voucher.

Bring plenty of small bills for the bus and small purchases.. Good way to get around (65 cents) They don't give out change much. Always count your change

I would look up the words for bathroom, price, thank you and that's all you need to know.

To me Feb is the best month to go. Not to packed, great weather, warm during the day, possible showers, some cool nights. Most people in Cancun speak great English, and those that don't speak enough to get along. You will pick up words fast being there. Take the day/snorkel cruise to Cosumel, and to Isla Mujers. (sp) Get out have fun, and take the bus. Have a good time. Also no need to trade to peso's, they all use dollars and prefer them.

It will by warm but not as humid as mid summer

pack cotton but take a light jacket as it could be cooler in the evening - especialy if there is a breeze
