I am going to Cancun and need to get some ideas on what is worth spending my money on and what is not.?

I am heading to Cancun in a week or so and need some ideas from people who have been there on what is worth spending my money on and what was not worth what they paid. I am wanting activities like parasailing, seeing the ruins, swimming with dolphins, etc. Any input is great!

Parasailing is awesome!  I've also heard the ruins are really cool.

I would go to Xelha - it's this ecological park with some AWESOME snorkeling.  There's buses that will take you there straight from your hotel.  Expensive...but totally worth it!!!

I think Xcaret is worth seeing. They have a underground snorkeling cave, dolphins, restaurants, lockers, showers and so much more.

We had a great time on Isla Mujeres. We rented a golf cart ($45 dollars US) and toured the island. We ended up at Norte Beach for a swim and some refreshments. I think it's worth checking out.

Definetly visit a cenote (underground rivers), they are included in almost all day tours. They were beautiful.
