I am going to Cancun in December... what can I bring back to the US?

I could not find the right info on the web... perhaps I am not looking in the right places... I need to know what can I buy in Mexico and bring to the US... food and other items wise... Gracias!

I just back and there's not a whole lot. Clay pottery trinkets, t shirts, Maya carvings. Booze but get that in duty free store in airport, it's easier to get past customs. Everything is over priced. Small shops you can talk them down

Mexican pottery, vanilla, silver jewelry, blankets, perfume made in Mexico "maja eaude toilette",  Art, Tequila and hand crafted items. Look for one of the kind items.

I thought the airport stores in Cancun had some great gifts. Loved the jewelry. Some made with beads. We always get to the airport with lots of time to spare and do some duty free shopping.

If you shop the markets be careful, they always start high with the prices, they expect you to bargain. Always start lower than you want to pay. Walk away if the price isn't to your liking, they always come back with another price.
