  1. About travel it cheap and food also its cheap every thing its cheap

  2. There's an ancient Egyptian custom that you must follow when walking through a door.

    Toot and come in.

  3. Alcohol is widely available in all tourist restaurants and hotels, however one thing to always keep in mind is that Egypt is a Muslim country and i don't think its a good idea to go outside holding a bottle of beer, you have to respect their beliefs, but you are allowed, which is the case in most Muslim countries, as long as you don't give it to any Egypt ion to drink.

As for the food being cheap, it depends where you are comparing it to, the food is cheaper, but there isn't a big difference in price, compared to any other country, its just the equivalent of what you would pay for something in the UK, but slightly cheaper.

    Have a great holiday

  4. I think that every thing in Egypt is cheap so if you need any thing you can contact me to tell you

    Yosri

  5. I'm not living in Egypt but I had a vacation their and alcoholic drinks are only available from stores near the airport, just go to Cairo, Egypt and you'll find what you are looking for. (cheap foods but not very cheap)

  6. Hi goldenheart, food can be cheap in Egypt. There are some foods known as 'street food' like kosheri and falafel which are both nice and are really cheap. You can also get nice meals in restuarants very reasonably priced. Alcoholic drinks are not readily available everywhere, of course, since it is a Muslem  country, but you can get them in hotels, and some licenced shops - I saw one of these in Zamalek.

    have a nice trip

    :)

  7. Food is cheap. Travel is cheap

Alcohol is available in tourist hotels and also from specialist shops. You will need your passsport to buy it and the amount you buy is noted.

  8. Depending on where you go of course.... but Egypt is very cheap in general.. The hotel prices will be slightly higher but overall food and travel are very cheap!!! If you go out into the local places that's where you'll find the cheapest prices... You can also find alcohol more or less everywhere... in the hotels, nightclubs and the odd alcohol store on the street..

Be aware Egyptian spirits are very STRONG and the wine has a bit of kick 2!!!!

    Have  great holiday!!!

  9. again it depends on where you stay, sharm is almost the same as the uk  and expensive. cairo less so and luxor cheapest of all.

food starts between between £3 and £5 for a good evening meal such as steak and veg.wine is about £5 a glass of poor quality. coke etc between 60p and £1.50. alcohol is freely available in hotels and bars etc

  10. I go there to dive every year, I find it very cheap simply because our pound make like over 10 of theirs, hence anything expensive for them will be very cheap to us because of our good pound sterling.
