  1. Man, I just came from El Salvador 1 day ago!

And be prepared to expect rain, the it gets hot and then at night it gets warm.

Food, it depends on where you go. Hotel Decameron El Salvador has international food, lol, I went there, it was good...

  2. El Salvador is a beautiful country!

Be sure to try thier famous "Pupusas".

The people there are very friendly,

but since you are going to a foreign country

    be sure to stay safe!!!!!

Take the necessary precautions and don't venture off alone.

The weather is warm and humid.

And the beaches are nice and warm.

There are also may of the same food chains

as there are here in the US such as

    KFC, McDonalds, and Pizza Hut.

    Have a fun safetrip!!

    :]

  3. WELL THE WEATHER IS HOT  AND IF YOUR GOING SOUTH IS  REALLY DRY NORTH IS HUMID AND RAINY

AND DONT WORRY  ABOUTH THE FOOD THEY HAVE THE SAME RESTAURANTS THEY HAVE IN  THE U.S

GO TO THE CAPITALTHEY HAVE THE BIGGEST MALLS AND BARS ECT.

  4. Like everyone else has already mentioned, it is very warm! Bring plenty of bug repellent with you because a lot of people who go end up having tons of bug bites all over their body.

As far as food goes, much of the native food is derived from corn...pupusas, tamales, atole. And yes, there is plenty of seafood. Also, try going to a bakery ("panaderia") and getting "pan dulce" (which is basically coffee bread). My favorite dessert is empanadas de platano. Soo good!

  5. The summer months in El Salvador are the rainy season.  Expect storms just about every day, no matter where you are in the country.  The temperature will be a balmy 80 - 85 degrees, extremely humid.

El Salvador has 2 seasons.  The wet (end of April to end of September) and the dry (October through March) seasons.

The food is excellent and I encourage you to try all the local dishes.  Sure there are many of the same restaurants that you can find in the US, but why go to El Salvador to eat at McDonalds, right?

El Salvador lies on the Pacific, so expect lots of fresh seafood.  Tropical fruits galore!  Pupusas and tamales are not to be missed.

    Have a wonderful trip.
