i might also go to cozmel  jan 8th,, im concerned tho it might be cool ,, I dont want 70's  i want 80 to 90 and tan my ***,, might go to punta cana instead

You will have a great time at the Fiesta. Cozumel is gorgeous. Getting into the water is a little rocky but once in Ahhhhh. Nice. the beach is great. It's worth the price.

Read some of the reviews on tripadvisor.com. They also have some candid photos from travelers like yourself. It will give a idea what everything looks like.

Enjoy. If you get a chance, rent a jeep and take a ride to the other side of the island and bring your camera. Some very interesting sites and fun bars. Be careful going in the water on that side of the island, surf and rip tides.)

Hi,

I was there just last year. I was not impressed with BIG RED the Fiesta Americana. First off, we got ripped off on the All-inclusive. It was part of the original deal, however, the Fiesta would not honor the paper work. So be very careful make sure it is all spelled out in advance.

Next, there is no beach. Its a concrete sea wall with stairs. There is a pier that is OK to swim from but you have to watch-out for boat traffic.

The rooms are fair not much to get excited about. The food service during breakfast and lunch is not even Two Star. You'll have to fight off the flies during your meals. It is outdoor or open air dining.

The main dining room was the best part of our week long stay. The food and service does get high marks. You wrap it all together and its a 3.

If you are there for diving activities stay away from the Dive House. I did not dive any of the premium dive sites. I had to go with the boat. It was so boring.

On my next trip I made a deal with Deep Blue and got to Devils Throat and Barracuda Reef. Also there is Scuba Gamma.

My last two trip were to Park Royal,real close to San Miguel this is by far a much better resort. If you would like my contact at Park Royal email me..
