I am going to Greece soon on a church trip, and they said to bring dresses. Where could i find some dresses?

I need some that are lightweight, and that cover the knee. i need affordable and cute. please help!

In monasteries, and mostly in nunneries, they just want you to have your legs covered by a skirt or dress. You don't need to buy a dress for that. Any skirt (not a mini skirt) will do. Also even if you get a long piece of cloth and wrap it around your waist that is good enough for them. And remember that your shoulders need to be covered too.

In churches, outside monasteries, there is no problem.

I'm sure there are tons of places to look. Depending on your budget, you could check out places like Ross (I love it cause its cheap, but you might have to search the racks to find what you really want), or maybe Target or places like Macy's,Nordstrom and Dillards.

You don't necessarily need to wear a dress or skirt in order to enter greek churches! Of course it wouldn't be nice to go wearing shorts, but you can always wear jeans or whatever else you want. It's different if you visit the monasteries though. In there you need to wear a skirt, but even if you don't have one, most of the monasteries nowadays offer skirts to the ladies who want to visit. I must say though that these skirts are beeing used by lots of women and if you don't like this idea then you should bring one with you. If on the other hand you are planning to stay inside the monasteries, then you probably need something of your own.

a store.  It's summertime, so you should be able to find what you need in almost any store, and they will likely have some on sale.

A Store...a clothing store.  You know what those are, right?  skip the ones that sell only jeans.

I'm sure they mean that you can bring skirts, too.  They want you to have clothing that is modest and dressy enough for nice restaurants.  I doubt they would object to a modest skirt and top look.  Check on that.

It is not that difficult to find a dress in this day and age.  They sell them all over the place.......  I would assume that you already have one or two....but I guess you don't.  If you don't want to spend a lot of money, go somewhere like Target or any department store.  They come in all shapes and sizes and colors.  But I think that maybe you would get more use out of a skirt and top.  Make sure your knees are covered and that your arms are, also.  The reason they tell u that u need a dress is because women must be dressed with modesty to enter a church.
