Taj Mahal in Agra is really close to Delhi. It is obviously a must see. Then Qutub Minar, and other places you can check out online. Customs- don't know what you mean. Don't wear tight or revealing clothes. Try not to get ripped off by vendors, because they that you don't know about bargaining and the price. Be conservative, and not too open. Food is good, but be careful of the spice, because I know a lot of people hate Indian food because they think it is too spicy.

Custom's: there is no such fixed custom's you could pin-point. delhi is a mixture of people from different states of india. the actual delhi inhabitant's are hard to find. so no custom's as such.

Places to visit: Red Fort, Parliment Street, Lotus Temple, Baba KrakSingh Marg(if you want to have a look at the handicraft).

Best places, friendly people, safe and trouble free environment

are aplenty in Tamil Nadu which is located in South India.

Reserve forests, hill stations, water falls, longest coastline,

Yes the customs in sense anything that is not harmful.Like knives,.......guns.....PLaces seeing worth are like Connought PLace,Rajpath which is the house of the president of india,the Delhi Akshardham a eigth wonder of the world..If you would like  to travel a bit then visit the TAJ MAHAL which is among the seven wonders of the world and beside it is  Shah jahans tomb.Then yes i have advice try not to stray into unknown lanes and not go out alone on lonely roads.Be friendly with the people.Take help of the polic .The number for police is 100.Check on the delhi police site in the area for foregniers.Be safe!HAve a gr8 time.Hope  you return to India
