  1. depends on how long you are planning to spend here.

If you plan to go out drinking every night then you will need a bucketload of cash i am afraid; especially if you spend most of your time in Dublin.

The dollar is very weak at present against the euro and food/drink/clothes etc will seem ridiculously expensive over here compared to america because of the exchange rate.

To be on the safe side i would budget €50-€100 per day for every day you are here, that would be equivalent to about $70-$140 per day

  2. It depends on how long you are gonna here..

You might want to bring around $100-$120 a day!

There are lots of entertainment here like Theatres, Pubs at night, Late night shopping on thursdays( in dublin), arcades.....

There are different varieties of food avaible(chinese, indian, malaysian....) There is also gonna be concerts in summer.

ps: if you plan on staying in dublin, the accomodation is much expensive than the country. Also if you plan on going to pubs most of the time, bring extra cash with you.

  3. Prices for food in a restaurant are on par with the US. Beer is going to be about 4.50 a pint.

  4. You can save a lot when you go there through a good travel reward program.Clubfreedom offer good packages.
