This week I am going to Rome, Florence, and Barcelona what are there laws on minors? Like Driveing, Drinkng age, and smocking age? What age do you become an adult? ( pleas put the sites from where you got you info.)

  1. In both Spain and Italy, the legal age is 18 for everything: driving, smoking and drinking, and going to prison.

    If you want to rent a car, most companies allow only people older than 23.

    If you want to go to bars and clubs, in most places they don't ask your age or ID, so if you just appear to be old enough they let you get in and order drinks.


  2. In Italy the limit is the same all over the country, regardless where you go. The limit is 18 for drinking, driving and 'becoming an adult.' From personal experience they will check i.d at larger places like big nightclubs etc..but most pubs and bars do not have security people. I did not look on any websites to find this out as I live in Italy, and my boyfriend is italian.
