  1. JUST BRING YOUR FREE SPIRIT...and dont worry ..every thing else will be ok ....make sure you got plenty of energy and flat shoes... being summer you need little clothes  just a jumper to keep warm if your cold..but i doubt that.  make sure you got your return ticket and a good  credit card. and some lose change at all times.. to buy food and stuff..every day nescitys..and that is it . then just PARTY!!! ..OH YEAH

  2. As little as possible. Travel with just a backpack if you can, it makes everything so much more simple. Pack your clothes in plastic bags to keep things more organizes and wrinkle-free. If you're from the states, don't forget a power converter, as the electrical system is different. I'd also recommend an extra memory card if you have a digital camera-- you'll be surprised how fast you can fill up even a 2GB!

  3. I cant urge you enough to pack light. as far as caution..common sense is key Just be aware of your surroundings Larger cities everywhere have the problem of pick pockets, Rome tends to have more than a fair share. Back packs and people that wear them tend to be good targets,so do your best to blend in with the locals. other wise both countries are rather safe places.

  4. money, few shirts and long pants probably bring ur brain(i not insult ok) put some money in ur shoe in case emergency u need it

  5. sunglasses, sun cream, a hat, a bathing suit.

    Cautious: in Italy pickpockets.

in Greece don't get sunburnt, the sun is strong.

Generally make sure you check the prices, at touristic places, hey may be too expensive with no reason. Also, taxi drivers are not very honest.

  6. Here is some interesting things you should know about Athens and Greece, in general, if you're gonna spend any time there:

  7. Vocation is all about relaxing, so don't worry too much! Not many things can go wrong. Just don't forget your bathing suit! Anyway I'll warn you about the worst things that could happen.Take a dictionary with you cause especially in Italy, the majority doesn't speak English.  Bring many t-shirts, you'll get sweaty real fast. Be careful of taxi drivers who charge tourists extra. Same thing goes for some restaurants , renting a car or a room. Well that's just about all. Mail me if you have any questions when you get to Greece. Enjoy your holiday!

  8. you should bring a lot of money, it obviously depends on where you're going but italy is so expensive! but do not take any warm clothes because the weather will be sunny and hot all the time, i went from venice to patras last year at around this time and it was smoking hot! - be aware of people jumping in front of you in lines, they dont respect queues in greece, its crazy! and dont be ofended if an italian shouts at you at an info desk, keep asking till you get your answers. enjoy!

  9. sorry to be the "old seasoned traveller"! but I first backpacked and hitchiked  this route in 1984!     On recent trips back to these countries I would still recommend the following:

In Italy ...enjoy everything but never..ever ..take ur eye off your belongings!!(the mafia still rule there)....as for Greece I have many happy memories of island hopping etc but as anywhere don't become the tourist who pays over the odds for anything!! Haggle ur way through all the trip and enjoy these beautiful countries tarnished by a few bad eggs?? ....Obviously ,at this time of year ,expect  searing heat and mosquitoes  etc but it's cheaper to buy repellents whilst there.
