train station= stazione

how much is it?= quanto costa?

to rent a car= noleggiare un auto

right= destra, left=sinistra

Most touristy places the Italians speak at least a little English.  But check out this site, it's a little helpful.  http://www.smartphrase.com/Italian/it_ge...  If you have the "Let's Go Italy" book there are a lot of phrases in the back that are very helpful!
